FAQ

Questions about CVE-2026-89293

Is CVE-2026-89293 being exploited?

It is not in CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, and CISA's SSVC assessment does not mark exploitation as active. That does not mean it has not been attacked: vendors and researchers can report attacks before CISA lists them. No public exploit code is tracked.Source: cve.now feed data

What does this mean?

Admin server actions in Eclipse Mnestix Browser do not check authorization on the server side, so an unauthenticated attacker can create, update, list and delete infrastructure records, including stored security headers and proxy credentials, and create connection records. This changes admin-only configuration.Source: gitlab.eclipse.org, gitlab.eclipse.org

Which versions are affected by CVE-2026-89293?

Eclipse Mnestix: from 1.2.0 before 2.3.0.Source: cve.now feed data

How do I fix CVE-2026-89293?

Upgrade Eclipse Mnestix Browser to 2.3.0 or later, which is the first version outside the affected range.Source: gitlab.eclipse.org, gitlab.eclipse.org
