Summary
SuiteCRM, an open-source customer relationship management application, has an SQL injection flaw in its report editor that lets an attacker with a low-privileged login read the entire database remotely, including user password hashes, OAuth2 tokens, CRM records, and configuration data. The flaw cannot be used to modify data, because the database connector does not allow stacked queries.
Read the original description
SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, AOR_Report::build_report_query_where incorporates a report editor's parameter_value when value_type=Field without sufficient validation. An authenticated user who can save a report can use SQL injection to read the entire SuiteCRM database. Disclosed data can include users.user_hash, OAuth2 tokens, CRM records, report definitions, and configuration data; the connector does not permit stacked queries, so direct write-through-injection is not supported. This issue is fixed in versions 7.15.2 and 8.10.2.

Questions about CVE-2026-71548
Is CVE-2026-71548 being exploited?
It is not in CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, and CISA's SSVC assessment does not mark exploitation as active. That does not mean it has not been attacked: vendors and researchers can report attacks before CISA lists them. No public exploit code is tracked.Source: cve.now feed data
What does this mean?
A report parameter value in SuiteCRM is placed into a database query without proper protection, so a logged-in user can read far more of the database than intended. This includes user password hashes, OAuth2 tokens, CRM records, and configuration data. The injection cannot be used to write or change data.Source: github.com
Which versions are affected by CVE-2026-71548?
SuiteCRM: before 7.15.2; from 8.0.0 before 8.10.2.Source: cve.now feed data
Am I affected, and how do I check?
Versions before 7.15.2 and versions 8.0.0 through 8.10.1 are affected, when the instance uses the MySQLi connector and a user can save a report in the AOR_Reports module with a Field-type parameter. Check the installed SuiteCRM version in the admin area and compare it with these ranges.Source: github.com
How do I fix CVE-2026-71548?
Upgrade to 7.15.2 if you are on the 7.x line, or to 8.10.2 if you are on the 8.x line.Source: github.com
