Read the original description
SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, email template attachment handling passes the remove_attachment POST parameter array through HTML-oriented securexss() processing and directly interpolates its elements into an SQL UPDATE statement. An authenticated attacker can inject SQL to disclose database information or abuse the UPDATE context to soft-delete all records in the notes table in one request. This issue is fixed in versions 7.15.2 and 8.10.2.

Questions about CVE-2026-69136
Is CVE-2026-69136 being exploited?
It is not in CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, and CISA's SSVC assessment does not mark exploitation as active. That does not mean it has not been attacked: vendors and researchers can report attacks before CISA lists them. No public exploit code is tracked.Source: cve.now feed data
What does this mean?
The remove_attachment POST parameter in the handleAttachments function does not properly sanitize SQL input. An authenticated user can use it to extract data from the entire database through blind time-based queries, or to soft-delete all records in the notes table in a single request.Source: github.com
Which versions are affected by CVE-2026-69136?
SuiteCRM: before 7.15.2; from 8.0.0 before 8.10.2.Source: cve.now feed data
Am I affected, and how do I check?
SuiteCRM before 7.15.2 and SuiteCRM 8.0.0 up to 8.10.2 (not including 8.10.2) are affected. Access requires a logged-in account that can reach the EmailTemplates Save endpoint, and no administrative rights are needed for that.Source: github.com
How do I fix CVE-2026-69136?
Upgrade to SuiteCRM 7.15.2 on the 7.x line or to 8.10.2 on the 8.x line. The advisory lists no workaround.Source: github.com
