Summary
SuiteCRM, an open-source customer relationship management application, has an SQL injection flaw in its get_end_date function in the Projects Controller. A remote attacker with a low-privileged login can exploit it to read database contents, including credentials and customer records.
Read the original description
SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, the get_end_date action in Projects Controller concatenates an authenticated caller's task_id value into a SQL query without parameterization. A low-privileged user can use blind SQL injection to enumerate the database schema and extract credentials, customer records, and other database contents. This issue is fixed in versions 7.15.2 and 8.10.2.

Questions about CVE-2026-61651
Is CVE-2026-61651 being exploited?
It is not in CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, and CISA's SSVC assessment does not mark exploitation as active. That does not mean it has not been attacked: vendors and researchers can report attacks before CISA lists them. No public exploit code is tracked.Source: cve.now feed data
What does this mean?
The get_end_date action in the Project Controller does not safely handle the task_id parameter, so a logged-in user can insert SQL into database queries. The flaw requires an authenticated account.Source: github.com
Which versions are affected by CVE-2026-61651?
SuiteCRM: before 7.15.2; from 8.0.0 before 8.10.2.Source: cve.now feed data
