Summary
The WebToffee WP Backup and Migration plugin for WordPress has an SQL injection flaw that lets an authenticated attacker with subscriber-level access or higher extract sensitive information from the site's database. The attacker reaches it remotely with a low-privilege login, but it only works after an administrator runs the plugin's ordinary database export and restore on the same site.

Read the original description
The WebToffee WP Backup and Migration plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'description' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Successful exploitation requires an administrator to subsequently perform the plugin's ordinary local database export and restore operation on the same site, which is this plugin's primary intended function. Successful exploitation additionally requires an action by an administrator — the attacker cannot trigger the vulnerability on their own.
