Questions about CVE-2026-120429
What does this mean?
Camaleon CMS checked only that a user was logged in for most media controller endpoints, not that the user held the media manager permission. Users without that permission could therefore reach those endpoints.Source: github.com
Am I affected, and how do I check?
Versions of Camaleon CMS before 2.9.2 are affected. Check the installed version in the product's configuration or package file to see whether it is below 2.9.2.Source: github.com
What should I do about it?
Upgrade Camaleon CMS to version 2.9.2 or later, which adds the missing authorization checks to the MediaController endpoints.Source: github.com
Is it being exploited?
It is not in CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, and CISA's SSVC assessment does not mark exploitation as active. That does not mean it has not been attacked: vendors and researchers can report attacks before CISA lists them. No public exploit code is tracked.Source: cve.now feed data
