Summary
LearnPress, a WordPress course review plugin, is affected through its review title field, letting a logged-in user with at least subscriber-level access inject script that runs in a browser when someone views the affected page. The attack can be carried out remotely over the network, and the injected script runs only after an administrator approves the review, unless the site auto-approves previously approved comments.

Read the original description
The LearnPress – Course Review plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'review_title (inside data.args.review_title)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 4.2.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The injected payload only executes after an administrator approves the submitted review, though sites with comment_previously_approved auto-approval configured may bypass manual moderation.
