Summary
SEPPmail Secure Email Gateway is affected by a flaw in how its v1 file-interface handles uploads: it processes and writes upload data before checking who is calling and without an overall request-size limit. A remote attacker who does not need to log in can tie up workers and temporary storage with many concurrent or slow requests, making the service unavailable.
Read the original description
SEPPmail Secure Email Gateway before 15.1.1 processes and writes v1 file-interface upload data before authenticating the caller and without an absolute request-size limit. An unauthenticated remote attacker can occupy workers and consume temporary storage with concurrent or slow requests, causing service unavailability.
