Summary

The Kiloview E3 NDI encoder firmware is affected through its ONVIF device service. A remote attacker without login credentials could change the device's hostname, DNS settings, or time source, which could enable follow-on attacks such as intercepting network traffic or bypassing certificate checks.

Summarized by anthropic/claude-haiku-5.5. Verify details against the original sources.

Read the original description

The ONVIF device service on affected Kiloview E3 NDI encoder firmware accepts hostname, DNS, and NTP configuration write operations without requiring authentication, regardless of the device's configured authentication setting for this service. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can alter the device hostname, redirect DNS resolution, or modify the configured time source, enabling follow on attacks such as traffic interception or certificate validation bypass.
