Summary
The Redux Framework WordPress plugin has a stored cross-site scripting flaw that lets a remote attacker with a low-privilege account, such as a subscriber, inject scripts that run in the browser of anyone who opens the affected page. The malicious input is saved as an array key that is never cleaned up and is written into the page without escaping, so it can break out of an HTML attribute.

Read the original description
The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'multi_media' Field Array Key in all versions due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The wp_kses_post sanitization applied at save time operates only on array leaf values, leaving array keys entirely unsanitized; the injected key is then rendered directly into an id="filelist-<KEY>" HTML attribute without esc_attr() in Redux_Multi_Media::render(), allowing attribute breakout.

Questions about CVE-2026-104812
Is CVE-2026-104812 being exploited?
It is not in CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, and CISA's SSVC assessment does not mark exploitation as active. That does not mean it has not been attacked: vendors and researchers can report attacks before CISA lists them. No public exploit code is tracked.Source: cve.now feed data
