Questions about CVE-2025-71458

Is CVE-2025-71458 being exploited?

It is not in CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, and CISA's SSVC assessment does not mark exploitation as active. That does not mean it has not been attacked: vendors and researchers can report attacks before CISA lists them. No public exploit code is tracked.Source: cve.now feed data

What does this mean?

The /linkinfo endpoint, handled by get_linkinfo, does not properly guard its database queries against SQL injection, and it needs no login. A remote attacker can use blind injection to read stored cloud storage credentials and token provider client secrets from the database.Source: vulncheck.com, advisories.egi.eu

Which versions are affected by CVE-2025-71458?

fts-monitoring: from 3.12.0 before 3.13.3; from 3.14.0 before 3.14.1.Source: cve.now feed data

Am I affected, and how do I check?

fts-monitoring versions 3.12.0 through 3.13.2 and 3.14.0 are affected. To check an installation, look at the installed fts-monitoring package version.Source: vulncheck.com, advisories.egi.eu

How do I fix CVE-2025-71458?

Upgrade to fts-monitoring-3.13.3-1 if you are on the 3.13 line, or to fts-monitoring-3.14.1-1 if you are on 3.14. Both versions contain the fix.Source: vulncheck.com, advisories.egi.eu
