Summary
Control Web Panel (CWP), a web hosting control panel, is affected by a blind SQL injection flaw in an unauthenticated internal API route. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to read arbitrary contents of the underlying database, potentially exposing sensitive data.
Read the original description
Control Web Panel (CWP) before webpanel_version 1.30 contains a blind SQL injection vulnerability in an unauthenticated loopback API route that connects to MySQL as root, where the 'user' parameter is interpolated directly into a query against the oauth_clients table. Attackers can send crafted requests to the unauthenticated route (originally /user_panel_dashboard/, later /valid_token/) to perform time-based blind SQL injection and extract arbitrary database contents.

Questions about CVE-2026-77881
What does this mean?
A flaw in the user parameter lets an attacker inject SQL commands that the server runs against its database. Using time-based blind SQL injection, an attacker can extract arbitrary database contents, one inferred answer at a time.Source: vulncheck.com, control-webpanel.com
Am I affected, and how do I check?
Control Web Panel (CWP) versions before 1.30 are affected, and the advisory identifies the affected build as webpanel_version before 1.30. The vulnerable route is an unauthenticated loopback API route that connects to MySQL as root. To check, look at the installed webpanel_version.Source: vulncheck.com, control-webpanel.com
What should I do about it?
Upgrade Control Web Panel to version 1.30 or later. The fix is in version 1.30, released 31/10/2026.Source: vulncheck.com, control-webpanel.com
Is it being exploited?
It is not in CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, and CISA's SSVC assessment does not mark exploitation as active. That does not mean it has not been attacked: vendors and researchers can report attacks before CISA lists them. No public exploit code is tracked.Source: cve.now feed data
