- Also known as: EUVD-2026-118560

## Summary

The Jupiter X Core plugin for WordPress has a directory traversal flaw in its 'file' parameter that lets a remote attacker, without logging in, read files in wp-content/uploads/, which may expose sensitive information. The path confinement check blocks reads outside that directory, so files such as wp-config.php cannot be reached.

Model-written summary (anthropic/claude-haiku-5.5). Verify details against the original sources.

## Affected

- artbees Jupiter X Core: through 4.62.0

## Description

The Jupiter X Core plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 4.62.0 via the 'file' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The path confinement check introduced in the CVE-2023-3813 fix (strpos + realpath) is present and working, so reads are confined to wp-content/uploads/ and cannot reach wp-config.php or other files outside that directory.
