Summary
The ai-sdlc MCP server, a component of the ai-sdlc plugin, is affected by a command injection flaw in its check_issue and check_pr_status functions. An attacker can exploit it by supplying shell metacharacters in the repo input, which can cause the server to run arbitrary commands with the privileges of the user running the MCP server.

Read the original description
The ai-sdlc plugin MCP server through 0.31.2 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute commands by supplying shell metacharacters in the repo argument. The unvalidated repo value is interpolated into gh issue view or gh pr view commands run via execSync(), letting prompt-injected agents execute commands as the MCP server user.
